I recently discovered something.
I guess I have heard about some of this United States tax law before, but it wasn't until I read about the tax treatment of stillborns that I finally put two and two together.
For tax purposes, if your child is stillborn, you are not allowed to claim that child as a dependent.
Your taxable income would not change as a result.
However, if that same child had been "legally aborted" instead, a deduction could have been taken.
Your taxable income would have decreased.
Lord, please come back and get us soon. The light from the City on a Hill is quickly fading.
